Word/Phrase Search Help
The word/phrase search allows you to enter words or phrases as search criteria for the HR Database. There are two types of word/phrase searches: keyword search and full text search. Each search type performs a different level of search through the HR database documents.
Keyword Search
Each document in the HR Database is assigned multiple keywords. The keyword search searches through both the document title and keywords to try to find a match to your search criteria. This search will tend to give less hits than the full text search but will present a more accurate document search score.
Full Text Search
The full text search searches through the body of all documents (Excel tables, PDF documents, Word documents and PowerPoint slides) to try to find a match to your search criteria. This is the least restrictive of the search types and will tend to return the most hits.
