  About the Seminar Series
The Betty Vetter Research Seminar Series is named in honor of Betty Vetter, CPST's Executive Director from 1963 until her death in 1994. This series honors Betty's lifetime of work collecting, analyzing and interpreting data on the science and engineering workforce. Seminars are held in Washington, DC, typically on the fourth Wednesday of every month.

What factors encourage or inhibit the diffusion of materials in the burgeoning number of web-based digital science libraries and their impact for student learning? While digital science libraries are increasingly common, systematic assessment of their impact is nearly absent.
